Don't Panic!

Hey everyone, it's been a long time!

While I've been away, I've seen and heard a lot of new music. Which brings me to Panic! At The Disco...

After splitting up their band, due to "creative differences", Jon and Ryan left, to form The Young Veins. PATD became P!ATD again, and the fanbase was as strong as ever.

They've been working on their new album for about an year and a half now. And, for a Panic! fan - that's an awfully long time.

After months of recording in the studio, they decided that their songs had an undeniable link.

Vices and Virtues.

Believe it or not, that's the name the 2-piece band chose for their 3rd album.

It's available for pre-order, and comes out on March 22nd.

If that wasn't enough, they've also released their first single off the album.

A catchy foot-stomper, "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" has undertones of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. The music video is dark, mysterious and as exciting as their old stuff.

Random Photo Time!!

During the holidays, I took some pretty weird pictures. So I thought I would show them to the world :)

My Blurry Christmas Tree

Baubles - you can see my reflection :)

Baubles Again

Melted candle wax. Don't ask why.
Cinnamon Scented Candle. It smells as good as it looks :)

And lastly, one of my Christmas presents, can you guess what it is?

Hopefully I will be taking more photos like this. But for now -Enjoy!

Happy New Year.. (It's not too late to say that, right?)

We're in a new year and it's time for a new start. Yeah right ;)
This Christmas holiday I've really enjoyed being at home with my family. It's the first Christmas I've had in my new home, and I must say it kicked butt.It was really weird because somehow it didn't feel quite like Christmas.
And now here we are in 2010 -time flies when you're having fun.I'm going back to school tomorrow and I really don't want. Not that I don't like seeing my friends,or anything. It just that I loathe the same old school routine. Wake up. Wash. Leave. Learn. Get home. Collapse on bed due to extreme tiredness. Sleep. and of course, wake up again.

And if I have some energy left in me, I'll read, or finally be able take pictures on my new phone (yay!).I have in fact, finished reading Eclipse for the second time, and I've decided that I don't hate Jacob as much as I did before.

Today, I have been looking through some old stuff up in my loft. I found a bunch of revision books, my old Spice Girls lunchbox, a 20 dollar bill and loads of other things.Really, I wasn't intending to find all that stuff- I'm actually looking for a couple of books that I have been renewing for about 3 or 4 months. They need to be returned to library and I'm kinda pushing the limits right now. Soon enough I'll have to pay a BIG fat fine. Oh dear :(

Anyway, check out this song from Forever The Sickest Kids. Have a listen. Go on, I dare you!

Rain, rain, go away

You might say that's it's typical British weather, but it hasn't rained this much since 1999. I can literally hear the rain beating down on my roof. After a long summer full of lovely, warm days, I think I have forgotten what winter is like.

Onto a lighter note, who's been watching the X-Factor? (me!)

Lloyd Daniel left last week, after failing to impress us viewers.I think we all knew deep inside that he was going to leave - all the other contestants had more support, and a greater chance of getting to the semi-finals.

Personally, I feel that Joe should win - his voice is absolutely amazing, and it gives me chills. (Good chills, that is). Danyl and Olly... well, right now they're just getting on my nerves. Besides, now that John and Edward have left, the show has become slightly less interesting and fun.You really have to ask yourself, 'Is X-Factor a singing contest or a show to see who's more entertaining?' If it was the latter, Jedward may have won. After being booted out, 2 weeks ago, it is rumoured that they could even be making a guest appearance in The Simpsons. Let's just say, it isn't the last we've seen of them...

This song has almost cheered me up from this horrible weather.

Song of the Day: Cool and Bored by LCMDF

But now I'm off to do some more school work :)

First Time For Everything...

Seeing as it is the first day, of the last month, of the last year in this decade, (phew!) I have decided to start something new. That would be this blog.
Me and my buddy, Fahima thought that it would be totally awesome to do something completely new. And maybe start a new generation of bloggers.Who knows, Blogger.com could become the new [insert social network here]!

At first, I had no idea what to write about. But now, I have so much to talk about that I could quite simply explode into tiny pieces of colourful confetti...
Okay, that was weird.
...

Onto The Twilight Saga: New Moon. You will probably at this point, love it or hate it. And unlike Marmite (yuck...), I LOVE it! As an avid Twilight fan and general crazy person, I pre-booked tickets to go and see the film the day it came out. I'm pretty sure everyone at the cinema did the same too. With the sight of "Jasper Says Relax" and "Team Jacob" T-Shirts, along with the sound of screaming fan-girls, it was hard not to get sucked in. (excuse the bad pun). I really enjoyed the film; New Moon was so much better than Twilight. It was really professional and visually stunning - just like how it should be.

Let's just say, the acting had improved. There was definetely less of that 'constipated' look, ( I'm looking at you, RPattz). Although, Bella/Kristen just about got away with that cheesy eyebrow lift (sheesh...)

I must say, Team Edward FTW! Jacob, however muscular and good looking he is, cannot compare to the knight in...sparkling...skin?
Long story short, this film made me want to laugh and cry and scream (and sweat - trust me, that cinema was hot). Basically, it was awesome. If you don't watch it, you're missing out. Seriously. Go and see it. Now.

I simply couldn't resist getting the Sunday Mirror last week - it had a New Moon Special, with a special magazine and really cool poster.I think it looks really cool on my wall...

Bella: Oh my gosh. Can you see that?

Jacob: Yeah, it's one of those crazy fangirls...

Kristen: Okay, Robert, you can let go of me now!

Robert: I...I don't think I can.
